    Stacey L. Janssen returned to her own practice in 2022, founding Janssen Estate, Probate & Elder Law, LLC, practicing in the areas of estate planning, probate administration, and fiduciary litigation in both Kansas and Missouri.


    Additionally, Stacey co-founded the Kansas Elder Law Hotline, which continues to serve thousands of Kansas and their families yearly. She can also be found frequently speaking at community and continuing legal education events speaking on the topics of estate planning, Medicaid, probate, and ethics. Stacey currently serves as the President of the KCMBA as well as being on the 2025 Super Lawyers List.

    Terri Roberts Munsell of Morgan Stanley will present “Illiquidity Happens: Planning Considerations for Alternative Investments,” exploring key factors advisors and planners should consider when incorporating alternative investments into long-term financial strategies.

    About the speaker: 

    Terri Roberts Munsell has 25 years of experience representing and advising clients. Her 18 years in financial services combined with her background as an estate planner and tax attorney provides her clients a unique perspective for their personal financial plans, goals and investment strategies.


    Terri earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Kansas State University, a J.D. from the University of Tulsa, and an LL.M. in Taxation from The University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. She makes complex legal, financial planning and investment concepts easy to understand – helping her clients reach important decisions and most importantly to take action. Terri helps clients build a financial plan based on their specific goals and constructs the appropriate investment strategy to support their plan.

    Terri is an active member of the local community, participating in the Junior League of Kansas City, and is a past board member of the Kansas City Estate Planning Society.
