    The estate planning landscape continues to evolve with changes in the law, tax considerations, and planning strategies. Join Charles A. Redd of Stinson LLP as he provides an update on recent developments and discusses practical considerations for estate planning professionals.

    About the speaker: 

    Charles A. "Clary" Redd is a Partner at Stinson LLP, where he concentrates his practice in estate planning, estate and trust administration, and estate and trust litigation. Nationally recognized for his work with complex estate planning matters, he advises high-net-worth individuals and families on wealth preservation, tax-efficient planning strategies, and the administration of sophisticated estates and trusts.


    Throughout his career, Clary has developed innovative solutions to complex planning challenges, resolved sensitive family disputes, and represented clients in fiduciary litigation involving wills, trusts, and estates. Before joining Stinson LLP, he served as a trusts and estates partner at two large law firms and held fiduciary positions with both U.S. Bank and Bank of America. His experience includes planning and administering estates with assets valued at more than $1 billion.

    Join Will Bergman for an overview of the Kansas Community Property Trust Act and its implications for estate planning professionals. This session will examine the key provisions of the Act, discuss planning opportunities and practical considerations, and explore how the legislation may impact estate planning strategies and clients.

    About the speaker: 

    Will Bergman serves as In-House Counsel for Midwest Trust Company, where he advises on trust administration, fiduciary matters, and estate planning issues. He has been actively involved in the development of Kansas trust law, providing testimony before the Kansas Legislature on legislation affecting trusts and estate planning, including the Kansas Community Property Trust Act. Through his work with Midwest Trust, Will collaborates with attorneys, fiduciaries, and clients on the practical application of evolving trust and estate planning laws.
