Membership in The Estate Planning Society of Kansas City is both an honor and an opportunity. Our members represent the region’s most respected professionals in law, accounting, financial planning, trust administration, and related disciplines — all dedicated to advancing the highest standards of estate planning practice.

While our membership is intentionally limited to ensure a collegial and high-caliber professional community, we welcome inquiries from those who share our commitment to excellence, collaboration, and client service.

Membership Process

Admission to the Society is by member proposal and invitation in accordance with our bylaws:

Nomination: A current member submits a written proposal recommending a qualified professional for membership.

• Review: The proposal is shared with all members for consideration.
• Approval: If no more than two negative votes are received within ten days, the nomination is approved.
• Invitation: Upon approval, the President or Secretary formally extends an invitation to join.
• The Membership Committee oversees this process and ensures it is conducted with fairness and integrity.
